For this project, CHK STRUCTURE AND SERVICE CO., LTD. was commissioned to provide a dual-purpose solution: Heat Rejection and Privacy Enhancement. The client’s property suffered from significant solar heat gain through large glass panes, leading to high electricity costs and a lack of privacy in the bedroom and kitchen areas.

Our Approach & Techniques:

• Surface Preparation: Our team performed a deep clinical clean of all glass surfaces to ensure zero dust particles—a critical step in the Samui humidity to prevent bubbling.

• Dual-Film Application: We installed high-performance solar tint on the main windows to block 99% of UV rays. For the sliding partitions, we applied a premium frosted privacy film, as seen in our work on the bedroom balcony doors.

• Property Protection: As shown in our process photos, we utilize professional-grade protective coverings for furniture and bedding to ensure a mess-free installation.

• Precision Cutting: Using specialized edge-trimming tools, we ensured a "factory-finish" fit that leaves no light gaps.

The Result: The indoor temperature was reduced by approximately 5-7°C, significantly lowering the load on the air conditioning system. The client now enjoys a private, cool, and UV-protected living space.
